   I literally let him struggle with something for like an hour and a half before I intervened
   "This bracket is bent"
   "So straighten it."
   "How am I supposed to do that besides putting it in a hydraulic press?"
   "🤷"
   >An hour later
   Me: "Let me in there"
   >Remove one bolt, loosen the other, pull bracket back so I can fit washers in between the bracket and the swivel
   "Hey can we put washers in there?"
   "😮💨....yes."

     @monsterislandcolonizer I know a guy who's been on a kick of not teaching the new boomer hires anything, he's just letting them flounder because it's better job security. Bosses haven't ONCE offered a raise for teaching the new guys, and they can't figure out their weird tex system.
