@Dicey @realman543 @11112011 @Jdogg247 Yeah. I don't know why he'd refuse to oblige, but it's not hard to create incentive. The kinda shitty part is that I was trying to keep federation, just get them to drop my account, and he opted for the nuclear option. I could have saved some time and just dropped them from this end if I knew that was the plan.

You wanted him to defederate your account specifically and when he didn't, if this thread is to be believed, you made a bunch of jokes about him being a child molester then was shocked when he defederated your whole instance?

If he's got time to come by and bother me periodically, he's got time to turn my account back off. He fiddles with it, turns it on and off. The first time he did it, I was annoyed that he seemed to think blocking my account would close the gaping hole he opened in his server, but I left it where it was, and then he reactivated my account for some reason. This time, I was inclined to just drop anything that comes from his server, but people here were following people there and vice versa.

You can see the screenshots, he was tagged in those posts, I asked other people to relay the message in case he wasn't getting it rather than getting it and ignoring it. The posts are all public, they all federated to your server.

Anyway, the "Sexy children, free meth, no feds" stuff isn't what did it, he let that slide for days.

I'm already surprised that he would declare me dangerous and evil and then re-enable my account, and then we have to, every time, do this stupid dance, and every time he acts shocked. I'm camping out at an alt and I tell him that I'd be engaging in shenanigans but that I didn't want to shit up someone else's instance. So I figured this time it'd be easier, but it was not, it took a month of me going "Two...two and a haaaaaaaaalf...I'm serious, young man! Two and three quaaaaaaaarters...". If he's that upset by the shenanigans, he probably should have said "Oh, this guy pulls shenanigans, let's save the time" instead of acting surprised that I keep telling him that I will engage in chicanery and I subsequently do. "Why, this is an outrage! I'm astonished! It is unbelievable that the same thing that happens every time would happen again!"

What if some of the people he started random shit with end up doing something to themselves? What if they have already? How would you know? Is that important to you? If you are concerned about the effect mean words might have had on him, what about the people he sent mean words to?
I get you are upset that your friend is not around. All I know about him is that he was a punchy cunt every time he decided to inject himself into the conversation and he recently spent a week shitting on me: I'm not going to be able to commiserate, I don't miss him. He announced he was going to get himself "banned from 50 sites", he managed 2.

Then he went to bunny.cafe, vowed to get banned from 50 sites to prove that he would not bend the knee, then went to annihilation.social and that account went inactive.
I think he figured out that he's unlikely to get banned from there so he got bored and left, Dicey thinks he's mentally ill and has gone out on the ice floe, and that it's tragic if that happened to him but is not tragic if he is responsible for other people drifting off on the ice floe, and has been periodically insisting that we should feel bad, and I cannot.
