You can lift all you want to surpass your own limits but nothing you do will make you stronger than someone who's genes make him huge.
I had a friend who could ohp 225lbs for reps as a warmup for his max which was 275.
I would have to be on roids and have a dedicated trainer and chef like I'm a movie star for me to even hit 225 ohp once. You can't out-train genes. Hard work doesn't beat talent.
