So let me get this straight..

People claim the Van Allen belts kill anyone who tries to go through them

Scientists counter saying there are weak points you can get through in a spacecraft

but SpaceX is now planning to do an EVA mission that would have astronauts high enough up that they go into the Van Allen belt


and I'm supposed to believe some new space suit is gonna keep them from getting cooked ?
