     If one took a gander at frontend settings or network request tab in devtools, they would know that's blatantly false.

     @munir mastodon has websocket for streaming, dont think pleroma has websocket u have to do polling, akkoma has websocket

     @munir @lamp It's disabled by default since the frontend sometimes doesn't play well with it. Regardless, it worked fine on Sengi when I was still using it, plus shoutbox operates over websockets as well.
