   Funny to inform oldies that there’s a case among the young kids that slavery - being owned by a genteel southern noble family and picking cotton - is actually an improvement over 2020’s employment today.

   Taxes, insurance, healthcare OOP, auto costs, rent all demand huge amounts of time, and all that “freedom” doesn’t mean anything to people stuck spending all their time just to live hand to mouth.

   Working out in the sun w/ your bros, with room, board, and healthcare all taken care of is a better deal than working for amazon hoping your health holds out long enough to acquire enough money for a tech cert to climb your way upward.

   (They’ll make up horror stories about being whipped because obviously your hypothetical, noble southern white family is going to be as cruel and horny for torture as your 300 lb negroid manager at amazon)
