   The troonshit is fairly recent though, and while I know nobody is gonna take someone from Varis seriously about loli, at the end of the day despite what the Twitterniggers and kiwis say, the actually "offensive" loli content is kept well away from where most normies are ever gonna see it. You won't find the nasty shit unless you actively go looking for it :shrug:
   
   I think your idea may hold amongst older generations who remember the old days of the class autist Naruto-running down the hall, but in general, at least for this part of the internet, I don't think anyone whining about anime is doing so from a place of "good-faith" cringe or disgust. It has been, in my experience, always the result of some fag projecting his own mental illness onto the anime in question (see: child molesters whining about loli, troons hijacking traps/cutesy aesthetics, and any number of other unpleasant things associated with anime these days).
   
   And while I do think trannies latching on to anime has done damage, I don't think it's as widespread an issue as it looks from where we are. It's probably massively overrepresented to us given that we regularly come across these fine specimens of depravity here on fedi or on Twitter. I mean, my 60 year old dad watches anime, more than I do these days, so it's certainly not the strange, esoteric thing it used to be back in the day.
