@veff Any social system can be malleable, it is the way it is. What's different today is that the men are defanged. Even within the sacred, hushed halls of the clergy men are chastised for brutalizing evil at every invasion.

"oh okay, you can be right but you DON'T have to be harsh, too!". People have been pop-culture indoctrinated into a pacifistic ideology because it's easy to trick the brain that way. You don't read an invasion as hostile when it's "poor unarmed refugees", despite the fact that it has the same damaging effects that axe-wielding pillagers would in the long run. We've moved away from male-coded social rules, now it's female. As long as it has the veneer of peace, it's peaceful. It's a lot tougher to navigate as a guy, we tend to bulldoze our way through the argument and "lose" by girl-rules.

Gotta get better as passive aggression, saying things that seem nice on their face but carry a payload like "I get where you're coming from, and your heart's in the right place, but it just really feels like you're trying to to change the doctrine so it doesn't offend worldly standards, instead of just following the Bible"

Whereas we give them the full broadside with "okay, that's absolute bullshit, you're leading everyone down to hell if you want to turn the Lord's home into a club for trannies and pedophiles"
